Blue Light is a certain wavelength of light which has been shown to potentially damage your retina, and lead to vision impairment. Blue Light emanates from cell phones, tablets, computers, some light bulbs, and even sunshine.
Blue Light / blue-screen filtering glasses feature lenses that limit exposure to the blue light wavelength, and can reduce the potential for damage to your eyes. Blue Light blocking lenses include non-glare protection, and may also improve symptoms of computer vision syndrome (also known as digital eye strain). Even if you don’t need prescription glasses, a pair of glasses with blue light limiting technology are beneficial for your eyes.
